Janet and Scott - I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. She was so devoted to your Dad. I didn't have as much time with her as your Dad, but I always enjoyed her. She had a unique voice and just a wonderfully sweet way of speaking. I have a vivid memory of popping in your folks one time and they were chatting on your back porch. Your Dad was there in his underwear - he'd just got back from fishing somewhere and had gotten his pants wet. He made a quick escape to get dressed before we went inside. We had a good laugh about it. Remember the good memories! It will get easier with time.
One more thing - Scott - do you remember the snowy owl we saw in your back woods?

Janet and Family,
It's hard to lose a loved one, but as long as you keep them in your heart, they will always be near.
