Michael C. Kleitz
of Lutz, Fla.
Michael C. Kleitz, 59, of Lutz, passed away June 15, 2005. He is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Marilyn; and brother, Robert, Binghamton, New York. He is survived by his wife, Susan, Lutz, Fla.; son, Michael (Jill); grandson, Nate, Minneapolis, Minnesota; brothers, Richard (Rosemarie) and Joseph, Binghamton, New York, Patrick (Dorald), East Aurora, New York, William (Patricia), Ithaca, New York; sister, Marilyn Smith (Marvin), Manassas, Virginia; many nieces and nephews; and special friends including, Billy Akins, Marty Hiller and his many friends at Walter Industries. A graduate of Binghamton North High School, he attended College at Binghamton University and Fort Lauderdale Flight School. He was a Vietnam Veteran, a pilot for most of his adult life and an employee of Walter Industries since 1976. Mike enjoyed spending time with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and friends, motorcycling, flying the company gulfstream and surfing the internet. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday at Blount & Curry-Carrollwood Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Contributions may be made to the Michael E. Connolly Lung Cancer Research Endowment, Upstate Medical University, 750 E. Adam St., Syracuse, N.Y. 13210.
