Michele Murphy Obituary
Michele D. Murphy, 58, of Endicott, New York passed away on February 7, 2013 after a long and courageous battle. She is survived by Thomas Murphy, her caring husband of 36 years and her son Robert, the pride and joy of her life, her loving mother Patricia Dwyer, one brother Michael (Mick) Dwyer; two sisters, Kathleen Dwyer and Mary Wagner; niece and nephew, Megan Wagner and Patrick Wagner; mother-in-law Ruth Murphy as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Arthur Dwyer and her father-in-law Walter Murphy. Michele was a very caring and giving person who always thought of everyone else before herself. She loved to do crafts, quilting, go on quilt shop hops and road trips. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Michael Barrett, his nurse Vicky, the nurses and staff of Seton 3 at Lourdes Hospital and Dr. Arum Sheth and his wonderful and caring staff. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10 A.M. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Flynn, Pennsylvania. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to Lend A Hand, c/o Binghamton Press, P.O. Box 1270, Binghamton, New York 13902.

Aunt Pat, Mick, Kathy and Mary ~ What a beautiful service for Michele today. I know it was a difficult day for you all to go through, but it was so beautiful at the same time. I'm sure Michele was very proud as to how all of you showed her so much love. You are a beautiful family and we love you all very much. Tom & Robby ~ The Mass today for Michele was just beautiful. There was so much love in that church and I'm sure that Michele was very pleased with how the two of you arranged everything. My sincere condolences to the family of Michele Murphy...my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I first met Michele several years ago when we bowled in the Tuesday morning league at Ideal Lanes. I will always remember Michele as a gentle, caring person with a quick smile for everyone. My last contact with Michele was during this past year, when while dealing with struggles of her own, she took the time to send me a sympathy card with the nicest handwritten note when my mother passed away. We have truly lost an angel here on earth, but now have a very special angel watching over us in heaven. Rest in peace, Michele. I will always cherish the times we spent together.

Tom, Robbie and family,
There are no words I can say right now to make you feel better. I know this is difficult from experience and world has lost a beautiful soul in Michele.
