Richard Strope Obituary
Apalachin - Richard Jobe Strope went home to be with his Lord on January 21, 2020. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Mabel Louise Strope. He leaves behind his children: David, Jim (Lois) Don, Kelly and Leanne. His grandchildren: Ryan (Jenn), Kirk (Elle), Justin (Maggi) and Patrick (Lauren). His great grandchildren: Eli, Amaris, Ivy and Shelby. His sister Marian; brothers and sisters in law Doug & Maxine and Jack & Mary; sister and brother in law, Joyce & Bill. His sisters in law: Pearl, Gloria and Virginia, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the South Apalachin Baptist Church. Calling hours will start at 9:30 a.m., the service at 11 a.m., with a meal following in the Church gym.

Many of my happy childhood and adult memories have Uncle Dick in them. We shared many Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings, Funerals and other gatherings. He will be Greatly Missed. Our thoughts and Prayers are with All the Family at this time. Our Love to All. Ed and Joan MacGuire

Strope Family,
Linda and I would like to express our sincere condolences and heart felt prayers to all members of the Strope Family at Dick's going home. We feel blessed that Gram pa Strobe was in our life, from church to helping build our dream home, he was always a joy to be around. We are sure he has a special place in heaven. May our Savior Jesus Christ bless you all.
