Lindow, Robert E.

Robert E. Lindow, 83, of Triangle, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 22, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Helen Lindow; brothers, Donald Lindow and Leith Lindow. Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor Lindow; children, Jim and Sandra Lindow, Cindy and Toby Boardman, Jean Lindow, Marcia and Bob Stahl, Cathie and Kris Malchak; grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica, J.R., Joy, Justine, Troy, Tarrah, Christopher, Brittney, Zach, Bobby, Todd, Casey, Cody, Natasha, Samantha; 12 great-grandchildren; fifty foster children and brother, Bernard Lindow. Bob was a dairy farmer for many years and retired from Agway. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his rhubarb. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, small engine repair, microd and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband and father and loved his family dearly. He will be remembered by his wit and sense of humor. He had a love for animals, especially his side kick "Chettah". A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, New York 13862. Friends of the family may call Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nicholsfuneral.com
