Grandma Williams provided a home for her daughter, Miriam and we four children in 1968. It took a great deal of remodelling for them to make the house into two separate family living areas. Grandma and Grandpa were also an integral part of our family.
Grandma's gift was making people feel loved and welcome. No one knows it more than we four Harris grandchildren! When our mother Miriam passed away in 1973, after nine years of assorted cancer treatments and surgeries, Grandma and Grandpa allowed us to remain there by becoming our legal guardians...For which I will be forever grateful. Four rambunctious teen and twenty-year-olds must have been a challenge!
Grandma and Grandpa's love for the Lord Jesus Christ was infectious. They taught us by example; not just "preaching" why we need to live the way Jesus shows us in the Bible. Jesus' sacrifice to pay for our way into Heaven and forgiveness of every sin we were born with and will ever commit, makes us not want to give Him grief!
Grandma was an example of gracious godly womanhood to many, many people. She prayed for each member of her extended family daily. We are so happy for her step into heaven that released her from the constraints her aging body imposed upon her.
And we will miss her as we remember her always.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Though we did not know her, we have heard so many wonderful things about her, she was a great testamony for her Lord and Saviour and to her family. May the Lord comfort you with His Words.
Sincerely,

To my Grandmother we will miss you ,but as you always taught us when we die we will go to a much better place and that is Heaven to be with our wonderful Lord.As I walked into Grandmothers House today the thing I missed most is not seening Grandmother sitting in her Red chair reading the Bible as she loved to do and for Jack he wanted so bad to buy her cookies and bring to her when he came to the house .The one thing we can remember about our Grandmother is all the lives she touched and all the people she helped in her almost 100 years. As Grandmother always said I want to go to Heaven to be with "Daddy" and now she is and I know she is rejoicing in the Lord for what he has done for her . Love always your Grand-daughter and Grandson Kelyy Jo and Jack
