Steven Denmon Obituary
Steven Eugene Denmon, 85, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully on March 28, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his mother, Erma Denmon, father and stepmother, Walter and Louise Denmon, brother, Walter Denmon, Jr., brothers-in-law, Bob Hauver and Jim Rando, father and mother-in-law, Bill and Rose Talbut, sister-in-law, Cecelia Martin and brother-in-law, Fred Talbut. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Wilma (Talbut) Denmon, and their five children; Denise and Dave Consol, Endicott, NY, Mark and Irene Denmon, Landisville, PA, Doreen Denmon, Nashville, TN, Jeff Denmon and Debbie Zeman, Vestal, NY, Scott and Cathy Denmon, Endicott, NY, as well as their grandchildren; Andrea and Matt Roberts, Dave Consol and Charlsie Mosier, Jeremy Denmon, Mary Denmon and great grandchildren; Alexander and Ariana Roberts. He is also survived by his sisters, Jenette Cook, Jean Rando, Terry Hauver, and Diane Ryan and sister-in-law, Joyce Talbut as well as many nieces and nephews. After graduating from Vestal High School, Steve served in the US Army working on guided missiles in White Sands, NM, before returning to Endicott to start his 35 year career at IBM. Steve was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, photography, baseball, softball, travel, camping, and woodworking. Steve Denmon will be remembered always by those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Absolut Care Nursing Home for their care and thoughtfulness. A Funeral Service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St. VESTAL, on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home in VESTAL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 401 Hayes Ave. Endicott, NY 13760, or www.alz.org/donate in memory of Steve Denmon.

he was one of the best people I knew at the IBM. I always remember his love of sports and the way that he made you know that he cared about you when he talked to you. next time I visit riverhurst Cemetery I will look for him and have a chat. sorry for your loss family. rest in peace Steve.

My thoughts are prayers to the Denmon family. I remember many good conversations with Mr. Denmon at softball games. Always a camera around his neck and always willing to share his thoughts with me during the games.
Mrs. Denmon and Doreen, I'm thinking of you both during this difficult time and am hoping that you find comfort when sharing memories with family and friends.

Having lost my Mother many years ago to this horrible disease I know what you have all been through. He is at peace with a whole and healthly body.
