Thomas A. Potter, 54, of RR #1, Starrucca, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother, Rose Potter, Starrucca; two daughters, Mary Ann Potter, Susquehanna, Amanda Potter, Starrucca; one grandson, Austin Wayman, Susquehanna; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was a member of the St. Paul's Church in Starrucca. He graduated from the Susquehanna Community School, class of 1971. He was employed at Jerry's Sport Center in Vandling, Pa.
The funeral service will be held at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 208 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, on Monday, November 12th, at 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Church in Starrucca, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Kenneth Seegar. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery in Starrucca, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
