Bobier, William F.

William F. (Bill) Bobier, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, NY. He was born on March 12, 1930 in Endicott, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Bobier; his mother, Lorena (Schoell) Bobier, also known as press photographer, Renee Myrae; two brothers, Gerald Bobier of Chenango Forks and Samuel Bobier and his wife, Jaqueline of West Windsor, NY; his sister, Betty Filloon of Lancaster, CA. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Johanna "Anky" (Mutsers) Bobier; two sons, Alan Bobier and his wife, Margaret (Meg) of Endicott, Daniel Bobier and his wife, Tina of Endwell; one daughter, Katherina (Karin) Bobier and her husband, Hadrian Marsh of Vestal; four grandchildren, Cameron and Ashley Bobier of Endwell, Catharina and Sophia Bobier of Endicott; and his sister-in-law, Margory Bobier of Chenango Forks. Bill served in the US Army and was a decorated combat veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Military after 20 years of service. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was very resourceful and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church 203 Washington Ave. Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm.
