Adeline "Del" Rich

Adeline Rich Obituary

Age 99, passed away peacefully at her home in Kenwood on September 21, 2008. Del is survived by her husband of 72 years, Clifford; sister Julia Bertetta; daughter Joan Lambert (Gregory); grandsons Ken (Jenny), Richard (Jessica) and great-grandchildren: McKenna, Kendell, Lola, Gus and Lily. Del was born at Annadel (now Oakmont), where her father quarried stones to rebuild San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake. After growing up in Kenwood, she married Clifford and moved to his family's ranch, where she lived the rest of her life. She was known for her amazing green thumb, sewing, quilting and knitting skills. At Del's request, no service will be held. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Kenwood Fireman's Association, P.O. Box 249, Kenwood, CA 95452.
