Alan Bushman Obituary

BUSHMAN, Alan J. Son of Wilford and Alice Bushman (both deceased) died December 21, 2002 in Santa Rosa. Born October 3, 1946 in Morrison, IL, he was a 1964 graduate of Morrison Community High, when he was active in sports. After serving in the U.S. Army as a military dog handler, he earned a B.A. degree in English at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. A resident of Santa Rosa for the past 25 years, he was a writer, wine aficionado and interested in investment research and counseling. He is survived by his wife Donna Elias of Santa Rosa, a sister Ann Rubright of Rock Falls Illinois and a brother Arlan Bushman of Chicago, IL. Memorial Services are planned for late spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or a favorite charity. Funeral arrangements were made by Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home & Crematory.
