Barbara Rodgers Obituary
Barb worked at various medical offices where she met life-long friends with whom she enjoyed traveling, adventuring, and monthly bunco nights. Barb was a staple at the Welfare League in Santa Rosa where she regularly volunteered in the shop. She was also a member of the League's Mad Hatters club where she knit hats for premature babies. For the past five years, Barb also co-hosted the League's annual Christmas Unlimited event which provides toys, clothes, and books to thousands of local Sonoma County children.
Most importantly, Barb doted on her three grandchildren, Beric, Quinn, and Kira, to whom she was a devoted Nana. Barb's favorite days were spent adventuring with Beric, eating ice cream with Quinn, and choosing the best princess outfits for Kira.
Barb is survived by her sons Tim (Janine) and Chris (Jenny Lynn) and her three grandchildren Beric, Quinn, and Kira. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Welfare League of Sonoma County.

Barbara was one of a kind. We met through a friend over fifteen years ago and became good friends. We shared a lot of laughs and many stories and photos of our grandchildren. Barbara cared for our lab Olive for the past 6 years. Her grandson and Olive were good friends and we look gorward to them continuing their friendship. Her passing was a shock and we will miss her friendship. She was like a member of our family.
Our sympathy goes out to her family. Her passing is a great loss to all who were blessed to know her.
