Our dear Carolyn (Cara) Anstead passed away Saturday, February 1st, 2025. Cara was the daughter of Norma "Polly" Rawles and Jacob L Frye. She and her loving husband William "Bill" Anstead are the parents of three children. Keli Hanson (Tim), Jill Smith (Richard), and Billy Anstead (Janelle, deceased). 8 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

Cara grew up in Sonoma, CA where she met and married her husband of 67 years. She and her husband were partners not only in a loving marriage, but also in fresh produce markets, having owned and operated 4 businesses, the most notable being Bill's Farm Basket located on Bodega Highway, just west of Sebastopol. Cara was known for her keen sense of operating the financial side of the business as well as creating and operating extremely high quality deli departments. Cara loved everyone she met and extended kindness and compassion to friends and strangers alike.

Cara is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loves the gospel of Jesus Christ and always helped and loved the missionaries of the Church. (Her wonderful meals and comforting words will be remembered by missionaries from all corners of the earth) Although she will be extremely missed, we are comforted by the fact that she is now in her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. We love you mom!
