Carolyn Douglas Obituary

DOUGLAS, Carolyn L. Passed away suddenly on October 15, 2005 in Bodega Bay, CA. Age 48. Loving mother of Candice and Natalie Douglas, Richie Douglas-Nielson and Max Douglas-Plaw. Carolyn was born in San Francisco but lived most of her life in Sonoma County, graduating from Tomales High School. She loved being a mom and was always ready to 'mother' any of her children's friends. She was the best friend and business partner, as well as the daughter, of the late Grace Persinger. Together they owned and operated "The Crab Pot" in Bodega Bay until Grace's death and then Carolyn continued until the time of her death. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fisherman's Memorial at Bodega Head, Bodega Bay, CA. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY-Sebasto-pol, 301 S. Main St., Sebastopol, CA.

Candice and Natalie, I'm so very sorry for your terrible loss. Your mother was a very sweet and loving woman. She always made everyone feel at home and cared for. She had great strength and grace.

To Candice and Natalie and your brothers, I am so terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. She was such a delightful person and Bodega Bay has lost a lot of its charm with her passing. My heart is with all of you in this time of grief. Please know you're in my prayers.
