Cecil Walton

WALTON, Cecil "Dale" - Left us and was called home, Saturday, May 26, 2007 at age 53, after being ill for some time. Dale was born in Sacramento, September 14, 1953. He moved with his family to Santa Rosa in 1964, attending Rincon Valley Jr. High. He graduated from Montgomery High in 1972 and from San Jose State University in 1977 with a BS in finance. Dale has lived and worked for the past 35 years in San Jose. Dale is survived and greatly missed by his son Devin Walton of San Jose; his mother Una Rochford; sister Mary Liljengren, brother Curtis Walton and sister-in-law Marsha Walton all of Santa Rosa; his sister Colleen Cota and brother-in-law Dave Cota of Sacramento; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother Darrell Walton in 1976 and by his father, Calvin Walton, in 1998. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Hwy., Santa Rosa, CA.
