Clive Elrick Wilson
WILSON, Clive Elrick 83, beloved husband of Peggy, adored father of Victoria and Cynthia. Clive was born on the island of Kauai, in what was then the territory of Hawaii. His father was an engineer from Scotland and his mother a registered nurse from Sebastopol, CA. At the age of six, following his father's death, he and his mother returned to the mainland to live in Piedmont. After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Navy to serve his country for three years during World War II. He attended St. Mary's College in Moraga for two years, and then transferred to Stanford University to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. He was a Field Representative for the Social Security Administration for 35 years. His first assignment was in Fresno, where he met and married Peggy. They were transferred to Hollywood, then to Reno, NV, before settling in Santa Rosa. Clive attended the First United Methodist Church, was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and a member of the Friends of the Carrillo Adobe. He enjoyed working in his garden and above all loved his family. At his request, there will be no services. If friends wish, donations may be made in his name to the Redwood Gospel Mission.
