RAMIREZ, Dolores Dolores H. Ramirez, age 87, passed away at her home in Windsor, surrounded by her loving family, on September 30, 2016. She was born in Texas in 1929, a daughter of Jose and Elvira Hernandez. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Ramirez; and a daughter, Beatriz. She is survived by 8 children, Angela Flores, Frankie Flores, Terry (Tony) Medina, Rosario Ramirez, Esperanza (Tony) Olvera, Mary (Ruben) Almaraz, Joey Ramirez, and Marina Ramirez; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 13 brothers and sisters (Dolores was the oldest); and many extended family members and friends. Dolores loved to welcome people into her home and feed them. A funeral mass will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 8400 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor. A visitation will take place from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th, with a rosary service at 5:00 p.m., at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave. Santa Rosa, CA 95405.
