Earlene Adele CARNATION

1935 - 2016

CARNATION, Earlene Adele 80, of Forestville, California, passed away peacefully October 24, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Neosho, Missouri. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Carnation Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl McKenna and Leah Agnes Parry, brother Ross McKenna, daughter-in-law Pamela J. Carnation, and great-granddaughter Clarissa Belle Allphin. She is survived by her sisters Valene Pope and Marilyn Siri, and her brother Parlen McKenna. Three sons, Joseph and his wife Sylvia Carnation, Richard and his wife Becky Carnation, and Douglas and his wife Christina Carnation. Four daughters, Cheryl and her husband Joseph Tiscareno, Diana and her husband Eric Allphin, Alicia McPeters and Shawna Carnation. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one more on the way. Earlene was born December 11, 1935 in San Francisco, California. She, along with her sister Marilyn, started Town and Country Furniture in Forestville, California some 40 plus years ago. Earlene loved a good deal and she gave one to everyone she met. Earlene and Joe also purchased Sunny Slope Rest Home from her parents and continued to care for the elderly in their community for many more years until they sold the business. Earlene loved to laugh and her happy-go-lucky smile was infectious! If you were fortunate enough to have spent time with her, she knew if you were married, how many kids you had and then gave free advice on how many more children you should have. Friends and family are invited to attend services for Earlene on Friday, November 4, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8100 Valentine Ave. Sebastopol, Calif 95472. The viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m.
