Frances A. Schumann

Passed away November 2, 2009 in Sebastopol at the age of 96. Frances was born, raised and educated in Sebastopol. On June 17, 1939 Frances married her loving husband Walter, who preceded her in death in 2004. She was a member of The Autumn Leaves and TOPS, enjoyed traveling, gardening, was an avid Giant's & 49'ers fan and most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Frances is survived by her son, Richard (Noleen) Schumann; daughter, Joann Schumann; four granddaughters, one great-granddaughter; sister-in-law, Blanche Starkey; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1300 St. Francis Rd., Santa Rosa. Private inurnment at Pleasant Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rick Starkey Memorial Fund, c/o Pleasant Hills Memorial Park, 1700 Pleasant Hill Rd., Sebastopol, CA 95472 or the Sebastopol Senior Center.
