Frank Romano Obituary

Frank P. Romano
October 12, 1966 - December 16, 2018
It is with great sadness that we note the sudden passing of Frank P. Romano on December 16, 2018. Born to Ernie and Jeannette on October 12, 1966 in Cleveland, OH. Frank spent much of his youth in Pittsburgh, PA where his family had moved in 1970 and where Frank became a faithful fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. After moving to CA, Frank attended and graduated from Piner High School in 1985. He also attended Santa Rosa Junior College prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his loving parents, Ernie and Jeannette; sisters, Kathy, and Alicia Romano Jones (Diondre); nephews, Dante and Khalil Jones; and niece, Leila Jones. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. It would be remiss not to mention Frank's love of animals, especially german shepherds whose companionship he shared for many years. He will be missed but never forgotten.
A Mass of celebration of his life will be on Thursday, December 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Old Redwood Highway in Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society of Sonoma County; Highway 12 West, Santa Rosa, CA.

So sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Ernie I met you once when you were in Bandon. Frank was a great friend to me and we spent many good times together during his time in Bandon and as co workers at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. We fell out of touch over the years but the memories still stand. He was there for me in bad times and vice versa. Remember the happiest times were spent with Dino! Sending my condolences and will donate to the ASPCA in his memory. Seth Plymyer

Jeanette, Ernie & familyI am very sorry to hear of Frank's passing. May he Rest In Peace. I remember spending many days with Frank and the family in the mid nineties before leaving town for college. Frank encouraged me to pursue exercise physiology and fitness. May god bless you all during this difficult time.

Please accept my heart felt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. When someone we love falls asleep in death the memories we have of them become our treasure, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends and may those cherished memories of a life well lived and Gods promise at John 6:40 ease the pain of your grief during this difficult time.
