Grace Boldt
September 23, 1932 - August 6, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of our beautiful and wonderful mother, Grace Louise Boldt, who passed away on August 6th, 2021.
Grace was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1932 to the late Leslie and Dorothy Brooner. She was the oldest of eleven children. At the age of 9, Grace traveled with her parents to California; spending the rest of her life in Sonoma County. Grace attended Santa Rosa High School.
Grace's greatest joy was her seven children which she raised all by herself a good portion of her life in Camp Meeker, CA. As the sole provider of her seven children, she worked extremely hard, spending 42+ years as a waitress at Negri's Restaurant (Occidental); retiring at the age of 77. She will always be remembered for the special "beauty mark" on her cheek and for her love of dancing.

Taking part in her children's sports and activities; always being the biggest "cheerleader" for her kids and grandchildren. She was a devoted fan of the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors. Grace loved excursions to national parks and zoos as she was a true animal lover. Back in the "good 'ole days", she also enjoyed taking trips to Reno with her Mom . She loved family gatherings where music and dancing were always included; she was a beautiful dancer.
Grace is survived by her six children: Kathy (Hug) Deeton (Pat) of Sebastopol; Joe Hug III (Jody) of Sebastopol; Pam Piazzo (Steve) of Sebastopol; Ronald Boldt of Clearlake; Tina Boldt of Buckeye, AZ; and Gina McWilliams of Sebastopol. She was predeceased by her son Charles Boldt in 2020. She is also survived by her long-time loving companion, Peter Gonsalves, who were together for almost 40 years.
Also survived by brothers and sisters: Sue Hoffmann (Laughlin, NV), Barbara Litzenberg (Florence, Oregon), Donald Brooner (Santa Rosa, CA), John Brooner (Sonoma, CA), Judy Nott (Sonoma, CA)
Predeceased brothers and sister include: Walt Brooner, Gene Brooner, Les Brooner, Jerry Brooner, and Linda Fusco.
Nine grandchildren: Kim Lindt, Robin Gordon, Joe Hug IV, Christopher Piazzo, Curtis McWilliams, Cindy Boldt, Denae Lombard, Rhonda Grace Boldt, and Landon Parke; 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She will be forever in our hearts and missed by so many.
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
