Sorry I realized after posting yesterday that I messed up on somethings that I wrote. It auto corrected when I said I known Nick for 21 years and left out the word complained. That Alix never once complained about having to pick his son up wherever and whenever he was put with his friends. Last, but not least I was saying that Alix was not just a teacher to his students. Also a great teacher to his family. Sorry, I didn't pre read before I hit send.
I will add that it takes a great father to make a great son. Nick I know is once of the nicest most kind person with a fantastic artistic ability that I'm sure his father was and will always be proud of.

Even though I didn't know Alix the best I know one of his sons very well.
Nick, I would consider myself a very good friend with him. I've none Nick for about 21 years now since I was 19. I'm 40 now. Alix I know was a wonderful father. He would drive Nick over to my house to hang out any day rain or shine. He would then never about picking him up even if it was 11pm. Nick spoke and still speaks of his father with the highest regards any son can. About how Alix was wise informational not just a teacher to students, but a student to his son. I told Nick the day after his dad's passing. Not so mourn his father's passing. To be happy that his dad isn't in any pain to celebrate his life. With the memory's of him to honor him by following in his footsteps and maybe to become a great father himself one day.

Hi Alison and family,
Your Dad was such an intelligent and kind man when I knew him in our childhoods. You are all in our prayers and thoughts.
