Ira Tunik Obituary
1932 - 2018
Ira Samuel Tunik passed away in his home on November 23, 2018 and is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Sandy, and their son, David. Ira was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, attended UC Berkeley, served a tour of duty in the Navy, then returned home and became a successful civil engineer. In the 1970s, Ira changed career paths to become a skilled trader on the Pacific Stock Exchange. A passion for mentoring led him to spend the 1990s and 2000s teaching the method of trading stocks and options that he had honed over the decades to eager students online, at Santa Rosa Junior College, as well as in one-on-one classes at his home. Ira's sense of humor, warmth, and caring will be missed by those who knew him.
