Jane O'Toole Obituary

Jane Anne O'Toole
August 4, 1931 - October 21, 2025
Jane Anne Smith O'Toole was born on August 4th, 1931, and passed away peacefully in Walnut Creek in the early morning of Tuesday, October 21st. She is survived by her four sons Kevin, Brian, Dennis, and Daniel and their wives Linda, Teri, and Stephanie and her grandchildren Lily, Connor, Maggie, Jack and Sara.
Jane was born in Albany, New York to Helen and Howard Smith and lived throughout the East Coast for the first part of her life. There she attended Great Neck High School and excelled in the dramatic arts. She performed in Summer Stock and other theatre productions, while also modeling in New York City.
She met and married Richard O'Toole in September of 1954. They spent 25 years together and lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York before settling in San Rafael, Northern California in 1975. She later moved to Oakmont in Santa Rosa in 1996 and was an active member of the local golf and senior community.
A devoted Catholic and parishioner, she was also a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren cheering them on in all their life's pursuits. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in her family's thoughts and prayers.
