Passed away June 13th, at age 96. Born March 13th, 1918 in Toronto, Jerry received his BS in Applied Engineering from Caltech in 1940 and his MS frm NCSU. He worked first as a chemical engineer and later a nuclear engineer, and taught at NCSU. Jerry was an avid photographer and especially enjoyed hiking and taking pictures in the Sierras. Jerry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Freeke van Nouhuys Kohl, daughters Joyce Kohl and Adelle Kohl, four grand-children and one great grandson. He was active in the Unitarian Church and the Sierra Club. Please make donations in his memory to his favorite cause, Planned Parenthood. A Celebration of Jerry's life will be held July 19th at 2 p.m. at the Spring Lake Village auditorium, 5555 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA.
