Even though I knew Jim for only a year, his life impacted me profoundly. He was an example of how we can overcome adversity in the power and the name of Jesus Christ. Well done good and faithful servant. See you on the other side.

My most sincere condolences to Jim's family and friends. Jim was a good man, an honest man and a man who could always be counted on to do everything with the utmost integrity. His compassion for his fellow man will be his legacy. Jim helped more people than we will ever know. I am not alone in my gratitude for those that we do know about.

Christine and I are saddened to learn of Jim's death because we love his extended family and understand their loss, and we are setting our hope together with you on the grace that Jim has received upon entry into God's presence and that we also enjoy when it is delivered upon Jesus' return.

My deepest condolences to the family members of Jim Christensen. He was a very humble man who made me and my colleagues in Ontario and Quebec feel welcome as newcomers to the TWU and more specifically the Executive Board. He always had a kind word for us and was a man of great integrity. Although I didn't know him for a very long time I will always remember his kind and gentle demeanour. He will be greatly missed.
May God bless your family during this time of sorrow.

As a member of the TWU finance committee while Jim was the Secretary-Treasurer, I can tell you that Jim was a hard worker, had a good sense of humour and I enjoyed working closely with him. His presence will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences to Jason and Justin. Your father was a warrior with grace who brought laughter to all of us lucky to be around him. He was so proud of you both and Jennifer. Now he is back with your Mom and I know that is bringing him Joy.
