Katherine Thomas Obituary
Kay was born in Wisconsin to Ronald and Wanda Boheim. Growing up, Kay lived in Japan, Greece, Alaska (before it was a state) and California as her dad was career Army.
It was her third stay in California that she met husband Pete and they married shortly after Kay's graduation from St. Vincent High School. She and Pete had just celebrated their 60th anniversary in early August.
Kay had long careers at both Sola Optical and Petaluma Poultry. She loved to read and spend weekends lunching and shopping with daughter Kim. Family and friends were Kay's biggest joy and she truly loved having them around.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Petaluma.

I remember many wonderful nights at the Thomas home. We would play bridge while Kim would play with our son Christopher. Then, many years later, it was such a delight to be Alex's first grade teacher. Love and compassion, Kathi DeJong
