Lora Hunter Obituary

Lora Lee Hunter
Lora Lee Hunter passed away on November 22, 2020. She was born August 14, 1937 in Madera, CA to Roy and Lora Miller.
Lora Lee married Robert C. Hunter in 1955. They were married 57 years before Robert's passing in 2013. She was preceded in death by her son Scott Hunter and sister Elaine Justice (Miller).
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hunter of Sparks, NV; grandsons Trevor Hunter (Michelle) of Rohnert Park, CA and Nick Hunter of Cotati, CA; two great-grandchildren Jaxon and Kenzie; and her brother Martin Miller (Marilyn) of Lincoln, CA.
Lora Lee and her family lived in Petaluma for 22 years. They were very active within the community. She loved music and sang in the Petaluma United Methodist Church Choir and The Golden West Singers.
She loved to entertain family and friends and was known for her homemade apple pies. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.
The family later moved to Truckee, CA where Lora Lee worked in the factory outlets and Robert worked in Real Estate. They loved living in the mountains, but when it was time to retire, they moved to Sparks, NV.
Lora Lee had a positive personality and greeted everyone with her beautiful smile. She was loving and caring to her family and friends. She will forever live in our hearts.
After cremation she will be placed with her husband Robert (USAF RET) at The Fernley Veteran's Cemetery.
