Mark Taylor Evju

Mark Evju Obituary

EVJU, Mark Taylor Age 64 years. Our mighty oak has fallen. Over these many months he showed strength of character and determination in trying to knock down cancer that took him away from us on July 30, 2006. A gentle man, a loving curmudgeon, who would have cringed at the thought of listing his accomplishments. He participated in life on a grand scale and met with success in every arena but was most content with his faithful dog Buck and his grandson Hank on a walk down to the barn to tend the garden and the sheep. Mark leaves behind his wife Mary Anne, their sons Mark Thomas and Joshua, Josh's wife Ingrid and our Hank. Other family members include his sister Kristin and brother Pieter, numerous nieces and nephews and Mary Anne's family. In addition there is a large group of Mark and Josh's friends he considered as part of our group and they had a special place in his heart. The family is planning a gathering on Evju Mountain at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 5 with food and libations to recall our times with this dear sweet man.

Dear Mary Anne,

We can't know why some things happen...

but we can know that love and beautiful memories outlast the pain and grief.

Love,

Dear Mark,

You sailer of the high seas,

You special loving husband and father,
