Nancy Davis, missed as much today as when she passed last year. A wonderful, caring woman who was the backbone of the Max Machinery Family. Thank you for letting me be a part of that family.

I was so sorry to hear of Nancy´s death. We went to high school together and worked on class reunions together. She was always so nice. I was so angry with myself because I missed her service today. My condolences to all her family members, especially her son and grandchildren. She will be missed.

Nancy was a smart, kind woman who was a wonderful "boss" and a lovely, considerate and caring friend. We will miss her.

Each time I think about Nancy it is not a memory of anything she said, or did and not a smile at anything she was wearing, or what she was cooking. It's just about all the time we were able to spend together. It was very special, and I will miss her very much.

I can honestly say that Nancy has helped shape who I am today. She gave me my first opportunity at a job and watched over me like she did so many others. She treated us all like family and her genuine care for all of us was part of what made her special. Even when I left Max, she would somehow stay in contact to make sure things were going well for me. Even when my mother was brought home to transition to the other side, Nancy, who was going through her own health battles, came to see her before she passed. Nancy was always there for my family. Although you were short in stature, you were respected and loved like a giant. I'll always have a special place in my heart for you, Nancy and thank you for your guidance and wisdom. Rest easy, sweet soul.

There is not enough room here to tell how much Nancy meant to all of us who were part of her "MAX" family. She was equal components of Class, Heart, Mentor, and spreader of Joy. I can not see her in my minds eye without her smile. You who were her "other" family, were truly blessed. Michael, especially to you, I remember how she adored you and was devoted to you. I am sorry for your loss, but rejoice in the wonderful woman you had for a Mom.
