Norman Lardner Obituary

LARDNER, Norman B. Passed away peacefully, January 2, 2006. He was 73 years of age. He was the beloved husband of the late Faith Christine Lardner. They were happily married for 48 years. He is survived by their 3 children; Christine Lardner and Peter Lardner of Santa Rosa, CA and son Mark and Christina Lardner of Sparks, NV. He was the proud grandfather of Abigail Faith Lardner and is also survived by his brother Alvin and wife, Cissie Lardner. Norman was the beloved uncle of Valerie Lardner, Melanie Andrews, Allison Lardner and Meredith Manzano. Norman taught metal shop for 25 years and math for 5 years at Roosevelt Junior High School, Glendale, CA. He also served as a Scout Leader, Indian Guide Leader and was Teacher of the Year for the Glendale School District. He was an avid traveler and he and Faith traveled to all 50 states. After retiring he moved to Santa Rosa in 1986 where he continued to work in the family business, Peter Rabbit's Chocolate Factory. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2:00pm. The final interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA. Tuesday, January 10, 2005.
