Patricia Grundman Obituary
Patricia Gilligan Grundman passed away September 24, 2023, at home surrounded by family and friends, at the age of 78.
Wife of David Grundman, married 51 years, mother of Bobby Grundman and Becky Fischer (Todd), grandmother to Alexis and Josh Fischer, and sister to Bill Gilligan (Debra). Also survived by numerous nieces and cousins.
Born in April of 1945 to Jack and Rose Gilligan, she has now joined them on the other side along with grandson Josh. Pat graduated from Santa Rosa High School, received her degree from Sonoma State College (now Sonoma State University) majoring in Spanish and spent many years as a substitute teacher and as an ESL (English as a second language) teacher in schools throughout Sonoma County. Pat liked to socialize with various social circles, host dinners and other social gatherings, do crossword puzzles, and was very good with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune programs. Also, a very good cook as attested by David having gained 40-pounds during their first year of marriage.
A member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Rohnert Park, Funeral Mass with be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, 10:30 a.m. with reception and luncheon to follow. If attending the reception; please RSVP to [email protected], or Facebook event link Patricia Grundman Memorial, or simply call 707 529-5051 and leave a message.

I remember Patty in seventh grade at Santa Rosa Junior High. She was such a nice girl. I liked her a lot. Her dad was our mailman. He also was so nice. Blessings.

Susan and I were quite saddened when we were informed of Pat´s passing. She was always a good friend of ours at car club events. We extend our condolences to her husband Dave and the rest of the Grundman family. May they find solace in knowing that she lives on in their memories.

I´ve known Pat since 1968 when we were both single and attending a singles group. I moved to the Bay Area in late 1970 but we always kept in touch with Christmas cards. She and Dave visited us once when we moved to Oregon. So sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers go to her and her loved ones.

I´m so sorry to hear Pat passed away. We spent our single year´s together having a lot of fun. Often had a yearly lunch with friends. Will miss her.
