Robert WILKINS Obituary

On April 27th, 2013 Santo Nino de Atocha helped Bob find a safe passage to heaven. Bob was a graduate of Montgomery High School. He worked for his parents at Quick Stop on Hahman Drive. He also judged wine in Healdsburg. But the thing he loved and enjoyed the most was riding his Harley with his best friend Gary. Bob is survived by his twin sister Roberta Werner, sisters Mary Evilsizor and Bernadette Gale and by brothers, Johnny Wilkins, Jerry Wilkins and Lee Wilkins, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He will truly be missed

I posted the following 3 memories of Bob. Sorry, but they did not accept my name.

Even though Bob lived in Phoenix, Arizona (where he passed away) and I live in Roseville, California, we were not only brother and sister, but very good friends.
I will truly miss our weekly phone calls, where he would share his newest recipes. Bob enjoyed cooking holiday meals for his friends. We talked about who he kept in contact with in Santa Rosa. And his joke about, "No, He's Your Brother." He really did have a great sense of humor.
My family and I will miss you.
Love you Bob,
Bernie

To all of his friends, thank you for sharing your memories.

I was always very fond of Bob. Guy with a heart as big as he. Had really hoped to see him at the 40th class reunion this year....would have been fun to catch up. Spent many a lunch hour with him in the quad at Montgomery in our sophmore year. Rest in Peace big guy! xxooxx

We are saddened at Bob's passing. I will never forget our first meeting; he riding up on his Harley on our front yard-I went out screaming & yelling "who do you think you are........ Well, he became a family friend. Even ran into him on the freeway in Oakland as he stopped to blow his nose. May his name be for a blessing.

I was very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I remember Bob from years ago in the younger social scene on 4th St. (cruising) and hanging out at Howarth Park, etc. He was a really great guy and always fun to be around. My condolences to his family.

I met "Big" Bob around 1978 when a group of us used to hangout at Howarth Park and also cruise 4th St. He was a very sweet man and gentle man and had a great sense of humor. I will always remember those days as very happy memories. May you find peace, Bob and know you are loved and will not be forgotten. RIP my long lost friend.
