Roberta Guerra Obituary
April 19, 1960 - October 10, 2023
Roberta passed away in New Jersey on October 10th, 2023, from ALS with her son Joshua by her side.
Born and raised in San Francisco, she then moved to Petaluma in the early 90's where she raised her three sons. This was when she truly dedicated her life to children with a 30-year career at St. James Church as well as with the city of Petaluma Tiny Tots Preschool. She touched the lives of thousands of families in our community. Many of you will remember her for her beautiful singing voice. This love for music started as a teenager in her home parish at St. Gabriel's in San Francisco.
Roberta is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Teddy Pearson. She is survived by her three sons; Christopher, New Jersey; Matthew, San Diego and Joshua, Massachusetts; her beloved grandchildren, Hunter and Rose; brother, Harry; sister-in-law, Lois and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many close friends as well as her St. James family.
There will be a Memorial Mass on November 16th, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. St. James Church. Luncheon to follow with a private burial. Donations can be made to the ALS organization or a charity of your choice.

You were aways so welcoming and full of love for the children. Your kindness was always there in church. You did so much and your voice so beautiful when singing out at
mass. You will be thought of often and with much respect. Grateful for all you did for everyone at St. James. Blessed to have known you.

My children were so blessed to not only have you as their Tiny Tots teacher, but also as their PSR teacher at St. James. You truly were the kindest, most loving person on earth. Thank you for providing us with a lifetime of memories and moments from our Tiny Tots days and beyond. Heaven gained an incredible angel in you. Xoxo
