Rudolf Constantini Obituary

Rudolf Constantini
February 11, 1930 - July 26, 2022
A great man who would forever change the destiny of his family and so many others left this earth on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Rudolf Constantini was born on a Tuesday, February 11, 1930 in Mannheim Germany. After surviving the terrible hardships of war torn Germany in the 1930s and '40s, Rudi was the first member of his family to immigrate to America in 1953. A beautiful love story began on the evening of his arrival when he met his soon to be wife Carole, a marriage that would continue for 68 years.
Rudi arrived in San Francisco with $2.00 in his pocket and no knowledge of the English language. But as with many immigrant stories, with Rudi's ability to learn and grasp his opportunities, he was able to quickly and successfully establish himself and excel.
The couple would then facilitate the immigration of his first two sisters and soon thereafter his parents and his remaining siblings. Throughout his life, Rudi practiced and studied classical piano giving great joy to his family. He shared his knowledge and joy for music with all.
Life progressed with Carole always by his side and the arrival of his first two children. Soon thereafter, the family moved to Northern Sonoma County where the arrival of two more children completed the family.
The years brought the accomplishments for Rudi and Carole when, single-handedly together they built two beautiful homes in the Mark West area where they raised their family. Later, employed in the HVAC industry, he was held in high regard as the 'go to man' throughout California when seemingly unsolvable problems arose, Rudi was your man. Rudi then began his own successful contracting business, Constantini Heating and Air Conditioning, a business that gave him much pride. Retiring in 2008 the business now continues with his son Mark Constantini.
Rudi and Carole enjoyed travel throughout Europe and beyond where they were able to reestablish family connections and meet new friends. A much admired couple, they were forever devoted to each other and the light of mutual respect and love shone brightly in their eyes.
Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Carole, his children Monica, Lydia, Mark, Rosemarie and their families. His siblings Ingrid, Lioba and Beatrix, predeceased by siblings Isolde and Edgar and parents Rudolf and Erna.
Rudi's passing is very sad for his family and yet we realize how fortunate we were to have him for 92 plus years. Please remember him when you see the clouds against the blue of the sky, the colorful sunset or hear the cry of the circling hawk.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to By The Bay Hospice of Sonoma who were so helpful to our family. Private Celebration of Life services will be at a later date.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Though it has been more than 50 years, I still remember "Mr. Constantini" as a kind, loving father to Monica, Lydia, Mark and Rosemarie, and devoted husband.
