MCDONOUGH, Sean James Of Windsor, CA passed away suddenly early Thursday morning on June 23, 2016 at Hollywood Presbyterian in Los Angeles. He was 27 years old. Sean was born in Santa Rosa, CA on July 2, 1988, the son of Michael W. and Laura L. (Michaels) McDonough. Despite being born with a congenital heart defect, Sean was an active and persevering person. He played Little League, was on the wrestling team, and graduated from Windsor High School. He then continued his education at the Santa Rosa Junior College. Sean studied acting at Shelton Studios in San Francisco and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. He became a SAG actor and worked on a handful of television shows as background talent and as a stand-in. Sean was good-natured and witty. He married his girlfriend of nine years, Geri Carillo, on November 28, 2015 at Sutro Baths in San Francisco. He made friends wherever he went, and his laid-back attitude was as infectious as it was admirable. He enjoyed comedy, good food, music, history and science, movies and television, and video games. Sean loved his family and friends dearly and left a great impact without having to do much at all. Those left to mourn his loss include his wife, Geri; mother, Laura; father, Mike; grandparents, Virginia Dayton, Barbara Michaels and her husband Bert McNamara; plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, and two cats, Kingsley and Korben Dallas. A memorial will be held for Sean at his parents' house in Windsor on Saturday, July 2, 2016, starting at 11:00 a.m. Family will be present to greet attendees and friends.
