Sheryl Garcia
October 11, 1958 - January 31, 2021
Sheryl passed away suddenly but peacefully in her sleep the night of Sunday January 31, 2021. She is survived by her son Charles, daughter Jennifer, sister Laurene, brother William, grandsons Demetrius and Jaxson, and granddaughters Dakota and Isabella.
Sheryl was born in San Francisco but grew up in Daily City, she relocated to Sonoma County in the mid 1980s to raise her two children. She was a dedicated long-time employee for La Tortilla Factory and took pride in her work there. After her 30+ years of employment with LTF the relationships and bonds built with the company and co-workers were strong and an extension to the family. Sheryl was a kind hearted, humble, and lovable person who touched so many lives. She liked to cook, read, and spend time outdoors, but most of all she cherished time with family. Sheryl's love for her family was undeniable, she enjoyed hosting family events and her home full of good food, fun, laughter, and love. After her husband Art passed in late 2019, she relocated to Idaho where she spent most days with her daughter, son-in law, and grandchildren. She also picked back up her passion for gardening, and enjoyed the snow days.
Sheryl was taken from us too soon, she will be loved, remembered, and cherished forever.
Services have not been planned but will be held in Sonoma County and her final resting place will be at the Shiloh Cemetery in Windsor alongside her husband.
