Shirley was a very sweet person. I made a huge ring for her once. It was one of the largest natural fresh water pearls in the world, from the Mississippi River. She loved it. The matching pearl pin was designed by my father for Loretta Young. I spent many happy times visiting with Shirley.

My wife and I knew Shirley many years ago when she and Howard spent a lot of time at Eldorado country Club in Indian Wells. She was a sweet and kind person who found beauty wherever she looked. Her sons meant a great deal to her, and to them and their families Helenka and I offer our sincere condolences.
