Suzanne Joan WAGSTAFF

WAGSTAFF, Suzanne Joan (Valentine) Passed away on March 31, 2015 in Rohnert Park, CA from breast cancer. She was born and raised in San Francisco where she attended Holy Name Elementary School, and was in the Mercy High School Pioneer Class of 1956. She was a member of the Sisters of Mercy Burlingame from 1957-1969. She had a combined teaching career of 38 years: nine years in Catholic schools, and 29 years in the SFUSD including special education, ESL, and K-6th grades. Survived by loving husband, John, of 44 years; daughter, Julie Ann OD (Dan Hicks); son, Stephen John DPM; and grandchildren, Aidan Johnathan and Justin Daniel. Daughter of the late Mildred and Bill Valentine, sister of Terence, Richard, and the late Michael Valentine. She enjoyed time with her family and friends, country living, gardening, canning, 4-H, and reading. Memorial Mass to be said on May 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Cotati.
