Tim was my roommate in college and after we graduated. His intense driven personality took some getting used to at first - but as we got to know each other we became close friends. Tim and I shared the love of fishing & had a couple very memorable trips. Salmon fishing in 1991 in Bodega Bay where we sleighed and caught the limit for everyone on the boat (while they were puking in the galley. We also "caught" abalone on several occasions out in Sea Ranch. Last I saw Tim in person was at a Bass Pro Tournament in Stockton about 8 years ago. Tim loved his wife Charlotte, was a proud Step-Dad and was beaming about becoming a Dad to his son Gavin. Tim was also an inspiration for me to clean up my act and become sober. Tim was very active in AA and took a lot of guys (sponsees) under his wings; thanks for your services Tim.
My condolences to his wife step-kids and son Gavin - you've lost a great man.
