Valara Ochoa Obituary
July 26, 1923 - November 23, 2025
On November 23, 2025, our beloved friend and mother, Valara Ochoa, passed away peacefully of natural causes at the age of 102. Valara was born in San Francisco and lived in Marin over 50 years before moving to Sonoma twelve years ago. She graduated from The Hamlin School in San Francisco before attending the University of California Berkeley where she was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. In Marin she owned Real Interiors where she applied her interior decorating skills. Throughout her life Valara had an interest in interior decorating, playing bridge, reading, entertaining friends and traveling. She is survived by her son who lives in Texas.
