Wandalene Lux Obituary

LUX, Wandalene E. Lamoreux - Age 72. Born July 10, 1934 in Santa Fe, New Mexico and passed on October 12, 2006 in Santa Rosa, CA. Wanda was a warm, quiet, loving, spiritual and caring woman. Wanda had a tenacious, resilient spirit dealing with her chronic pain for 49 long years - her faith kept her strong. She was active in her church, loved to write poetry, work in her garden and spend time with family and friends. She moved to Santa Rosa when she was 8 and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1952. She married Wade in 1955 and became a homemaker and mother after working for the Santa Rosa Savings and Loan. Survived by: Oscar Wade Lux, III, her dearly beloved husband and best friend of the last 51 years; sister Bonnie Maroni (Jack) and brother Kenneth Lamoreux (Anne); children - Lynnette Lux Bourne (Jerry), Mike Lux (Nan) and Shawn Lux; grandchildren: Joshua Lux, Zena Caputo, Joel Lux, Marissa Caputo, Jaemie King (Ryan), Jessi Lux, Josiah Lux; sister-in-law Marilyn Halverson (Roger), brother-in-law John Lux (Kay), numerous neices and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Oakley and Olga Lamoreux. We adore her and miss her dearly. Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Wanda at Santa Rosa Memorial Park Chapel, 1900 Franklin Avenue on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a chronic pain organization. Arrangements by SANTA ROSA MORTUARY EGGEN & LANCE CHAPEL, 542-1580.
