Winston Loundagin Obituary

Winston Huber "Itchy" Loundagin
August 12, 1935 - May 1, 2025
Winston Huber "Itchy" Loundagin, age 89, passed away peacefully at his home on May 1, 2025. A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend to many, Itchy lived a full and colorful life marked by dedication to his family, community, and country.
Born on August 12, 1935, in Portland, OR, Itchy was the owner of Noonan's Garage and Body Shop in Guerneville, CA, for nearly five decades. Noonan's was home to the well renowned Great Pumpkin, an orange wrecker created from a 1951 Mack LTL and relied upon for all heavy recoveries and tows in northern CA for decades.
Itchy proudly served in the Army on active duty and the National Guard, as a firefighter in the Forestry, and as a reserve deputy sheriff. Itchy saw all 48 contiguous states on a solo roadtrip and eventually visited Hawaii and Alaska. One of his greatest joys in retirement was restoring a 1951 Mack LTL SW and attending truck shows with his "Mack buddies" across the nation. An avid collector, Itchy was especially proud of his collection of American Gold Star burial flags from WWII, a tribute to fallen heroes that reflected reverence for history of the war his father fought in and his deep patriotism.
Itchy leaves behind a legacy built on hard work, loyalty, humor, and above all, a deep love for family and friends. His memory lives on in his daughters Lisa (Todd) and Choeleen, son Sean, granddaughter Rhiannon, great-granddaughter Alice, and grandson Tyler (Analisa); his "little sis" Dianne; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; lifelong friends; and his "boys" (the men he proudly mentored).
A celebration honoring Itchy's life will be held August 16th at 12 p.m. at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. All who knew him are welcome to come share memories and laughter. In honor of Itchy, we suggest donating to his favorite cause: https://warriordogfoundation.org/donation.

When I first moved to Guerneville I didn't know anyone and needed some welding done. Someone said take it to Itchy. I walked into Noonans and he said sure, I do it for you. I remember he only charged me $30.00. I thought wow, what a great guy. Always took my cars there after that.RIP Itchy, and regards to the family.

I just heard. Rest easy Uncle. I´m glad I saw you when I visited Steph a couple years ago. I used to love visiting your house in the hill in the seventies and 80s. I know your family was there waiting to help guide you on your way home.
