Allan Scott Obituary

ALLAN "SCOTTY" SCOTT Born in Glasgow, Scotland on 3/12/23. Passed away Mon. 7/16/07 in Hemet. Scotty was a member of the Hemet Elks Lodge #1740. He was an avid golfer and a member of Cherry Hills Country Club, where he enjoyed playing with his buddies, John, Jim and Bill. Scotty was also a Mason. He served in the Royal Air Force as an airplane mechanic. In 1958, Scotty immigrated to New York with his wife and infant daughter, becoming U.S. Citizens in 1963. He worked on the Rockefeller Estate in Tarrytown for 7 years. After working for ITT Baking Co. in Rye, N.Y. for 10 years, he transferred to California in 1978, and retired from DiCarlos Bakery in San Pedro in 1989. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Temecula so they could enjoy retirement together... moving to Hemet in 2006 to live closer to their daughter. Scotty had a wonderful life in which he shared with the love of his life for 56 years, Emma. His daughters, Audrey of Rancho Palos Verdes, Sandra & son-in-law Skip Doughty, and grandchildren, Shannon and Shane of San Jacinto, whom he was so very proud of each of them and his wee dog Luca. Please join his family for a memorial service, Sat. 7/21, 12:30 p.m. at the Hemet Elks Lodge. A special thank you goes to Dr. Duncan Miles at Loma Linda, whom attended Scotty during his reconstructive surgeries. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, Plastic Surgery Residency Education Fund at Loma Linda University Medical Center, 1175 Campus St., Suite 21126, Loma Linda, CA 92354.
