Barry Loop

Barry Loop passed away at his home in Sarasota, Florida on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was 77 years old. Barry was born in Long Beach, California December 7, 1945, to Gilbert and Dorothy Loop. Barry was the youngest of Gil and Dottie's sons, Gil Loop, Bob Loop, and Terry Loop. He also has four half siblings, Patty Krupp, Kelly Nolan, Laython Loop, and Allyson Loop. Barry was an electrical contractor and owner of Sierra Pacific Electrical Contracting in Riverside County, CA for over fifty years. He started the business in 1969 in Corona, CA and moved the business to Jurupa Valley in 1981 where the business is now run by two of his children, David Loop and Patience Spina. Barry received his contractor's license on his 18th birthday and was the youngest licensed contractor in California. He was successful and respected in the contracting community. Barry was a licensed pilot for many years and loved to travel. He resided in Vieques, Puerto Rico with his wife Laurel before retiring in Sarasota, Florida in 2017. Barry is survived by his wife, Laurel Loop, his children Michael Loop, David Loop, Natalie Loop, Patience Spina, Sara Raygor, and Tyler Loop. Barry also has 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life at Sierra Pacific Electrical's yard on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2pm.
