Beyrl Hazelyn McArthur

WINCHESTER BEYRL HAZELYN (JACKIE) McARTHUR Born: October 6, 1909 in Cambridge, Maine Died: September 8, 2008 in Riverside, Calif. Married to Lawrence C. McArthur for 56 years, he died in 2005. Survived by daughter Florence Jean Kleinpeter of Riverside, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren Retired in 1969 after working 40 years as a Registered Nurse. She proudly claimed "I rose as high as I could in my profession". She and Larry lived in San Marcos, CA for almost 30 years. They owned and operated Imperial Kennels, bred Miniature Bull Terriers, had champions and won many trophies. They retired to Winchester, CA in the early 1980's where they raised Miniature Horses for show with great success. She was a past member of the Winchester Women's Club. Jackie had many hobbies. She collected dolls, sewed, knitted, did needlework, painted, had her own kilns and molds, spun wool yarn from sheep she raised and wove it into fabric on her looms. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She loved to read.
