Darlene R. Mangan

1938 - 2015

DARLENE R. MANGAN, a resident of Corona, Ca. and formerly of Freeport, Il., passed away on November 3, 2015 of complications from a stroke. Born on 7/30/38 in Harvard, Il. She was a high school and beauty school graduate. Darlene was an accomplished artist as well as an avid golfer. She also loved swimming and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Nina Olsen; her sister, Dorothy Stabb and her brothers Dan and Richard Olsen. She is survived by her son Joseph Mangan of Palm Desert, Ca.; her daughter Patrice Mangan of Freeport, Il; her daughter Renee Rendine of Corona, Ca; her grandchildren Michael Garvin of Durand, Il; and Heather Ontjes-Tolly of Laguna Hills, Ca. and her great-grandchildren, Mason and Marilyn Garvin. A mass in her memory will be held on November 21, 2015 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Corona, Ca. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 8540 Weirick Rd. Corona, Ca. 92883 or to The Arts Colony at 510 W. Foothill Pkwy., Corona, Ca. 92882.
