Dorothy Jones Obituary

DOROTHY MAY JONES1922 ~ 2009 Our beloved mom, grandma, and great grandma passed on October 19, 2009 in her home with many of her family members present. She was born in New York and made Riverside her home for the past 55 years. She was married to Albert L. Jones for 53 years before he preceded her in May of this year. She leaves a legacy of her children Paul Sebree Sr. (Sandy) and Sheri McCauley (Keith); her grandchildren Lori Northcutt (Dave), Paul Sebree Jr. (Lee), Kari Peet (Tim) and Sean Sebree; her great grandchildren Nick Elzie Sebree, Derry O'Dell, Cassandra Payne, Lindsey Bittner, Zane Sebree, Bryan Northcutt, Chance Sebree and Riley Peet. She is also survived by 3 sisters Dell (90), Berta (84) and Lee (80) and their extended families. Dorothy worked for many years as the Director of Volunteers at Parkview Hospital and Owned the "Zoo" Day Care Center. After retirement she remained active in helping wherever needed at her Mobile Home Park Il Sorrento in Moreno Valley. Whatever needed to be done or anyone that needed help could always count on her being the first to be there. She will always be remembered for her baked deserts and the wonderful unique crafts she created. Because of her sweet spirit she always drew people to her and created a wealth of friends along the way. She will be so missed by her family and friends. At her request there are no services planned but a guest book has been created for sharing memories, stories and laughter.
