In Loving Memory of John Moreno:On August 16, 2023, John Moreno left this world to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished connections that touched the lives of many. John was a devoted husband, caring brother, beloved uncle, and friend. His presence in our lives was a true gift.While we mourn the loss of John physically, we celebrate the legacy he left behind. John's legacy reminds us to embrace the values he held dear kindness, compassion, and the importance of nurturing the relationships closest to him. The bond with his lovely wife Peggy, was one that could only be described as inseparable. They meant everything to each other sharing not only their lives but also their hearts and souls. Their every breath was a testament to the deep and unwavering love they shared. John's dedication to Peggy was evident in all aspects of his life, from his largest accomplishments to even the smallest moments like rushing home every day just to have lunch together with her. These moments truly meant the world to him.John is survived by his wife Peggy of 48 years; his sisters, Esther de la Cruz, Magdalena Ridgeway, Maricela Olmos, and Elizabeth Moreno; brothers, Ruben Moreno, Martin Moreno, and Eli Moreno, as well as countless nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father, Ruben and his mother, Cleotilde. Beyond his love for his wife, John had a deep passion for music, movies, and antique collectibles. His heart overflowed with kindness and generosity, and he carried with him a gentle spirit that had a calming effect on those around him. His laughter was contagious, and his smile had the power to brighten any room.More than just a smile, when John came around, he brought you hope, and he encouraged you. He was the kind of person that always left you better than how he found you.Few people get the opportunity to ever know someone that truly cares, and even fewer people are blessed enough to have known someone who impacts your life forever. That's who John was. John was truly unforgettable.His influence will forever remain a part of us. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of the Lord, knowing that his time on Earth was a blessing to us all.John's family looks forward to celebrating his life on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 10:00am.
