June McIntyre Obituary

JUNE MCINTYRE Was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on March 10, 1934 and passed away in Wildomar, California on July 20, 2008. June is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Kenneth I. McIntyre; 2 sons Michael and Mark Couden; 3 step-sons Jerry, Rick, & Kerry McIntyre; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 2 sisters Ann Hill & Jean Horn. June graduated from Woodward High School in Oklahoma in 1952. She worked a short time for KSIW radio station before working in Oklahoma City for WKY channel 4 news in 1953. She was the only female in the newsroom where she ran the Houston machine- this was the first station to have color T.V. June worked as secretary of McIntyre & Sons Construction for 27 years. She enjoyed traveling in her motor home, making her own greeting cards, and taking care of her grandkids. June had the gift of gab and loved entertaining for family and friends. Her family will always remember her unique sense of humor. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 7/26 at Evans Brown Sun City Chapel.
